Caribbean Music Association organises a free event every year for the carnival community and local residents of Notting Hill in the month July. The event is a family fun day with organised activities and an opportunity for children to compete in games and win a medal at the awards ceremony and finale.

The weather is glorious and at least 400 people attend with their picnic baskets on the lawns of Horniman's Pleasance Emslie Gardens, Bosworth Road W10. As well as being able to buy a range of Caribbean food, the event has welcomed DJ's, costume bands, Children's books stalls (inc. Rasta Mouse) and many more to have stalls.

Previously CMA had a Caribbean steel band followed by carnival mas bands parading some of their costumes. With music and DJ's of CMA supplying the music a great time was had by all.

There is always a new surprise for the family...

See you there!
